Solo: S.O.S. D’un Terrien en Détresse

This beautiful song, recently linked to the stunning performance of Dimash Kudaibergen, is a joy and a challenge, to sing.

You will recognise the complexity of this song pretty soon into it. For any singer, this song takes practice and consideration.

From a Parkinson’s perspective, breathing control, considered tone and vocal dexterity are required but are all challenging. The movement across the broad range and strength of vocals required at different times triggered me into coughing and choking fits before I mastered my symptoms.

If you want a song that will push you, test you and strengthen your vocals, if you want a song that will help you to manage your symptoms, then I recommend this.

There is also cognitive benefit from the challenge of singing in another language.

I hope you enjoy the video, which you will find below:

Composed and written by: Michel Bergerand and Luc Plamondonin.
