Parkinson’s Window

I felt compelled to paint an eye; the eye of a person with Parkinson’s Disease. This is the window from which a person with Parkinson’s looks out and sees the beauty in the simple aspects of life.

These are the things that the healthy will often overlook, because they don’t have to sit and stop. A healthy person is under more pressure to busily ‘run around’ whereas a person with Parkinson’s will have to stop, to recharge and to even cease doing something. These are the things a person with Parkinson’s may have time to see, to consider and to appreciate. Not everyone will, but many do. It’s good to consider the blessings; such as time to stop and see the beauty in things, rather than only see Parkinson’s Disease in all of it’s negatives.
